Foyers: A sneak peak of your style

Here are a few photos for inspiration:

This foyer’s soft muslin hue provides a blank slate for the interesting art, furniture and wrought iron railings.  Benjamin Moore’s Feather Down is a perfect choice.  A color for the collector.

Modern, with a touch of whimsical color, this entry gives us a peak at the style of the rest of the house.  Who would have thought to upholster those modern style ottomans with a vintage toile?  Genius!  Lately I am in love with Benjamin Moore’s Wiemeraner!  Smokey, rich yet not overpowering.  Perfect!  A color for the eclectic.

Elegant and classic describe this foyer.  I love the warmth of the wall color and the mix of white and wood on the stairs.  Just beautiful.  Benjamin Moore’s Splendor is complex enough to stand the test of time.  It becomes chameleon like turning golder in the evening and khaki in the daylight.  A color for the traditionalist.

Again– barely there color on the walls but what a way to contrast with the substantial table and doors.  I love the giant basket and the over-sized lantern.  It is hard to see but there is a subtle gray striped pattern on the floor.   It brings a sense of geometry and simplicity to the space.  Benjamin Moore’s Seapearl is a soft white for the ages.  A color for the naturalist.

Not every foyer needs to have soaring ceilings to make an impact.  Bright and refreshing, this green stairway area is very inviting and crisp.  Ben Moore’s Central Park gives a happy vibe…  A color for the c0lor lover!

Nautical without being too blatant, this foyer has a casual feel but is crisp and orderly.  I love the deep stained floors and the pale sea walls.  Benjamin Moore’s Sweet Bluette is a perfect blue for this Nantucket inspired space… A color for the purist.

Elegant, yet inviting, this elements in this entry are the perfect scale for the space.  The warm golden wall color is very welcoming…  A color for the hostess.

Is it yellow or green or both?  Anyway you look at this color it is fresh and soft.  I love it with the natural wood floors and the crisp white woodwork.  A color for the modern traditionalist.

The rich color in this entry makes a statement especially with the intricate designs in the door and flooring.  A color for the transitional decorator.

Blue can be welcoming too when it is tinged with some warmth for softness…  A color for everyday decorating.

Victoria or Eastlake touches influence this entry.  The khaki green walls look neutral without appearing too boring which puts the focus on the newel post and stairway…  A color for the antiquarian.
